I really need to stop posting at this site apart from submitting biographies for prog metal bands. Every second goddamn f**king idiot has totally mis interpreted my original post in the "is Dream Theater power metal?" poll and is pointing the finger at me "man what the hell they aren't prog metal" FOR CHRIST SAKE, IT WAS LUCENT THAT CLAIMED THAT WERE POWER METAL, NOT ME, f**k. How hard is that to understand? Even in my original post, I implied quite obviously that the notion of DT being power metal was ridiculous. "
I find the notion of Dream Theater being a power metal band a rather bold claim"
HOW HARD IS IT TO UNDERSTAND THAT I'M IMPLYING THAT THE DREAM THEATER BEING POWER METAL IS A STUPID CONCEPT? Holy crap, it seems hard enough for a lot of people in that thread it seems.

You're in our ranks then. I guess my win of today was finishing more collab work at least.

My lose was being rejected that fancy new prog reviewer promotion. but it was a winning loss. Like, a loss with a winning horizon.
I still wanted that parking space...
My win was writing more poetry that no one will ever care about.

The Long Distance calling album was amazing, their new one. Liked it more than the new Mono I think.
Also, dinner time anyway.

OK, I suspect this is the first time I've been a bit of an additions prig, but I'm quite annoyed at some very well-respected (on the site) people dismissing things out of hand for no good reason in a way that has gotten newbies threatened with bans and threads closed.
On the plus side, Grave New World is gold. And I really like The Aerosol Grey Machine, even if the version of Giant Squid/Octopus is a bit flaccid relative to the later H to He take.

I have almost 120.
It isn't a big deal, though. I mainly wanted the ability to alter my old reviews, anyway. That isn't a problem, now.

Pity about that. Your reviews seemed pretty decent, clear and concise to me, and without the 'what can I possibly ever possibly add to all the reviews already here' thing that some reviewers use in lieu of their own thoughts.

Err? Sorry to hear you've been rejected, Alitare. For what it's worth, your reviews were much better to read and accept than your philosophical arguments. Did you actually get a rejected PM, with the reasons why and all that?

It's alright. James doesn't know how to fight anyway.

I've not heard it yet either. But Pat and Mike have.
