Black Oni is better than Elixirs.

I'd say Five Suns was as well, actually.

Elixirs has some wonderful music on it though and I still really like it.  I'd probably give it a 4/5.

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to hear those two eventually, but Elixirs along is absolutely magnificent. The last time I heard it, I loved every minute of it.

Arthur, Elsie and Me.

That's classic Guapo.

Jeweled Turtle is excellent too, as is King Lindorm.

The two Twisted Stems tracks are the weakest.  I'm not used to vocals associated with Guapo.  Plus they're not as dark and forboding as I'm used to them being.  Black Oni is really a dark album.

I disagree with the Stems. Selenotrope is my favourite piece.

Arthur, Elsie and Me is my favourite.

But then that's because it reminds me so much of Black Oni and Five Suns.  Mmmm!

Right, time to sort myself out for later.

I have a house to myself.  That means I have to cook.  I'm going out about 4 and I've not even had a chance to look at how I'm getting there yet!

Wow, Khan's Space Shanty is brilliant.  I've not played it in ages.  Wow wow wow!

"Across the dyke of worry".

Brilliant! Big smile

Driving to Amsterdam = Heart

Driving to Amsterdam = OK

Rest of the album is much the same. The opener is trés cool, though.

Wolf City blaring at the moment - really fabulous album.

Not a big krautrock fan but I really like that one.  Excellent stuff.

Padraic, what Piirpauke album is that on your recently played tracks? Smile

I see there's no progress happening with their addition despite the positive feedback...

Some "best of" thing I found on emusic, so I could check out the band.

They should definitely be on progarchives, I think the problem is finding a good home for them.  Has any genre team volunteered to evaluate?

Oh OK. I've never heard Merci.  Based on previous posts here in the Shred Room, those just looked like fighting words to me.

It's alright. James doesn't know how to fight anyway.
