Anybody know any free websites that a chimpanzee can figure out? I`ve tried about 10 but they just get too confusing. I currently have some free webpages on freehost which is pretty basic but I`m looking for something where I can put music samples and videos to complement my radio show. I mean simple. Something with no tools.  No cutting. No pasting. No fonts. No nothing. No templates.

Way too complicated spent half an hour trying to figure the crazy thing out Confused. Thanks anyway.

I just need a place to list links to sound samples that can be found on other blogspots, youtube, this site etc. that I play on the show from week-to-week so people won`t bug me on the phone.

^ you should definitely use blogger.com ... it's perfect for that purpose. I doubt that you'll find anything that's simpler to use ... so just keep at it. Smile

Why does everything have to be so damn superfluous?

^ It shouldn't be that difficult. Once you've created a weblog, posting new content should be as easy as posting comments in this forum.

This is the section of my current webpages I use for my show. I just want somewhere, such as a page, where I can post a series of links. Most of the people listening to the crap I play have never heard it before and want hear more.

Wow. This is confusing ... seems like a collection of blog-like sites to me. I suppose you could create on blog at blogspot.com for each of them. Personally, I think that maybe you would be better off with making one big blog that lists all these entries. At blogspot.com you can tag each post accordingly and people will be able to browse your entries by tag.

No, it`s all my stuff.i createdall the s*** myself with the exception of most of the photos. it`s a sampling of some of the "music" I play on the show. this blogger.com is far more complicated. i just want somewhere where listeners can go to get more connected.

just be patient with it and try not to let it get too complicated. ive got a blog for my radio show and it was nothing to start it up at blogger.com

dont really understand the confusion over it. is there a specific area that you're getting hung up on?

The confusion starts on the very first page when I try to create a site. When it tells me that I`ve already got an account. Then it tells me to reset the password. I reset the bloody password and it tells me to reset it again. It turns out that I`ve changed the password for my bloody gmail bloody email account. Angry I think I`ve tried everything on the first two pages of freewebsites on Google.Confused Can`t get past the first two steps on any one of them without something f**** up. I have friend who might be able to help me out but his schedules conflict with mine.

What I want is this :

Because I`m the only guy on the station that plays all kinds of wacked ou s*** from the 70s I get a lot of people asking me what the f*** was that crazy s*** you played on such & such a date. So I just want a lousy site where I can put a list of bands with short bios, discograpies, suggested tracks and maybe some links to some videos on boobtube. Simple Simple Simple Angry. No guestbooks. No galleries. No about me . No members. No freakin`nothing Angry.

well set up a new acount with a different email silly. blogger.com couldnt be easier i think. if thats causing trouble then i dont know if there are going to be any easier solutions out there.
Once you sign in its pretty simple to make even more than one blog page. just use a new/different email or get your password sorted out.

Isn't the same account supposed to work for all Google-related thingies (Gmail, Blogger etc.)?

Yeah, Blogger is the blogging service provided by Google. From my experience, never use more than one account for Google! I did the mistake of creating two Google accounts and now I regret it.

Ian, why not try Wordpress? I found it very simple to start. Here it is: http://en.wordpress.com/features/
