The vocals I can cope with... it's the silly Japanese cheer-leader bits that annoy me.

Absolutely. But how long can it take to make the new album? I used to devour And the Glass Handed kites trying to figure out the story, after that I couldn't listen to it for about a year.

And good morning to you folks still here.

Cool, I've been thinking about giving Seasons in the Abyss a listen one of these days. I've just been in a too much of a prog headspace recently to do that.

I'm not sure why the new album's taken so long either. Thankfully it's supposed to be out sometime this June, or at least it is the last time I checked.

I only recently got into the band, but I love And the Glass Handed Kites to death too. I think Frengers is a good album too, although not quite as good as Kites.

Frengers has the three tracks from Symmetry to Her Voice Is Beyond Her Years that can't quite match the other tracks, but apart from them it's staggeringly brilliant in my opinion. If I remember correctly Eight Flew Over, One Was Destroyed was number 11 on my Ultimate Song List thingy. Glass Handed Kites is better as a whole, but Frengers has many better songs I think. I saw one of their festival shows in 2006 and loved it, I hope they'll come and do a headliner gig indoors this fall or somewhere.

Yeah, I agree on Symmetry to Her Voice Is Beyond Her Years. But overall, I think Kites is a better album whereas Frengers has better songs. And that's awesome that you got to see them live. I can imagine this being a band that is even better when both seen and heard.

Alright. Got a fairly busy day tomorrow, but only 2 more exams over the next 2 days before I'm done until the fall. Big smile So good night.

Would anyone mind if I stole SR again once this thread is dead? I am vain enough that thinking of witty titles brings me joy.

I hope everyone else thinks the pictures in my sig are as funny as I do, otherwise I assume some people are very confused.

This is what I was referring to. The lack of consistency amazes me sometimes.

Sorry about coming here to whine.. I understand you could not care less about that. It's just that sometimes it feels good to vent.
Hey, have you seen some of our posts? ;-)
