Yes. I was simply referring to the fact that Zappa being bad is still average for most artists out there.

I've never heard a band that uses them quite like that. How would you compare that Ange album to Au-delà du délire? That's the only thing I've heard from them and I'm very fond of it. As I am about Andy McCulloch's drumming on Lizard, perhaps I should get to know Greenslade as well? Good to see Raff is alive, haven't seen you two here in a while

Don't know that one, I'm afraid, only heard a live album (ange... a dieu?) and le cimetiere. I did think le cimetiere was very good. McCulloch's on great form, it must be said, though he's not always being Fripped (new coinage describing playing in King Crimson) out of shape on this one. Personally, though Greenslade was very good, and Tony Reeves (played bass for the first couple of Colosseum albums... very much underrated) is another real standout player.

Don't think you could go wrong with either of those albums, tbh, but they're my introductions to both the bands anyway, so I'm maybe not the best source

Yup, I've had a lot going on. Well, I have my last exam next week and after that it's field courses and summer break (read: summer work), but that exam keeps me preoccupied right now.
