I'm going to make my own series of prog quizzes on Facebook, Vic, so people can enter it and have a tournament against each other. You up for playing them? I'm working on the 1st one now, but I may not be able to do too many until Friday.

I will definitely make at least 1 TD quiz. Smile

I think what I'll do is give myself a week to make each quiz (or a certain time frame), and then people can take the quiz at any time within the specified time frame... I'll keep track of the scores on a note on FB.

Should be pretty cool.

If you create the quiz, then play it yourself, then invite us all, a detailed tracking of our scores and the head-to-head results will be automatically created.

Yeah, on the top tab of each quiz there's "play more", "invite" then "friends". This is a page of statistics between those people in your contact list who have played at least one quiz (doesn't matter which, doesn't matter if the same as you did).

You just focus on doing those quizzes, and then you'll see how the game will flow. Big smile

I'm still making the 1st one; I'll let you know when I'm done.

The only thing I wonder: What if everyone isn't on each other's friends list? Then what? That's what I may just keep a tally in a note for or something, and then everyone can see everyone else who is participating, regardless of whether they know each other.

I can't get enough of it.

But I grew up listening to Celtic rock music, so maybe it's me.

Yes.  Yes you do.

I'm very impressed with Hazards of Love.  I don't think it's quite as good as The Crane Wife, but it's a concept album, no doubt- full of repeated passages and it's like one long song.

O Valencia! and The Perfect Crime #2 didn't strike me on the first listen as much as the first songs or the ones after them, but now I really like them a lot. I always get a Mark Knopfler vibe from the guitars in The Perfect Crime #2. The Island and Yankee Bayonet are probably my favourite tracks from the album now.

What that album does lack in "prog factor" ("The Island,"of course, is a notable exception), it makes up for with exceptional songwriting.

There's definitely something there that will make me give it repeated listens...I just don't seem to have the "love at first listen" with this band as a lot of others around here do.

Absolutely. This band may well be the best thing I've found this year. Thanks to all you enthusiasts here Hug

Yessongs is pretty cool. The Yes Remixes version of Sound Chaser is c-razy

I Heart Spotify
