They're pretty amazing. Start with Jane Doe and go from there. They really haven't put out anything bad, but they really started to get good with When Forever Comes Crashing, then they made Jane Doe which is one of the best metalcore type albums ever made, and then they released two other fantastic releases after that: You Fail Me and No Heroes. They've all got different sounds but they are all distinctly Converge.

Cool, I'll get onto them albums then. Ahh, the 90s, back when I didn't know what metalcore was, and now, sadly, 90 per cent of the kids that like metalcore dress like w**kers. The scene used to be cool as far as I can tell, but scene kids ruined it. The music is still good in some cases though.

Hey, it's been a while  I really dig ASIWYFA and i'm enjoying the new stuff very much; i appreciate that they added the compositions from their EP. ("I Capture Castles" rocks )

I just checked this project out; is it supposed to be math rock? It kinda has a psychedelic punk feel to me. It reminds me exactly of Omar's TMV style.

Well that's mainly because it's another Omar project. It is interesting, though, listening to these tracks knowing that they were recorded in 2006. It helps explain the inspiration for Hella's There's No 666 in Outer Space album and TMV's decision to bring a guy like Pridgen in to play drums.

I listened to the first two songs on Jane Doe. Are all their songs like that, cause honestly thats way too fast and brutal for me to be able sit through in it's entirety.

MMMmmm... Forgot how beautiful Oceanic can be. It kinda reminds me of a better version of Wavering Radiant  Btw, everyone listen to Rushaholic and check out " And So I Watch You From Afar" Sure, it's not unlike a style we've heard before, but it is quite rockin' I must admit to watching lots of Isis and Pelican live footage in
anticipation for the upcoming show.... It seems that half the time both
bands play like they on the original recording but more energy, and
half someone botches the sync of the piece at one point or another. I hope i see them on a lucky
night

What exactly do you want me to break down? Basically, the first two tracks are two of the fastest/br00talist ones. It's going to be heavy, but the tempos and dynamics are more varied as you go along. Don't expect anything totally "clean" on this disc, but expect totally awesome. I recommend listening to Jane Doe start to finish with an open mind. It's brilliant, if often bludgeoning.

i see some Converge talks here , i haven't heard much from these guys , only When Forever Comes Crashing , and it wasn't bad, but i didn't pay much attention on hearing something else from them , maybe in future ..
