Anybody heard this yet?

The only Saga that I had heard prior to this is Generation 13 and this blows that away (and I'm only up to track 4 on my first listen.)

Anyhow, I'd be curious to hear opinions on The Human Condition in particular and Saga in general.

I was first introduced to prog rock through Saga and I have a soft spot for them. In particular, their debut album. Saga led me into Rush because the latter band was from the same town and that meant they could not be bad..... Now, I am a Rush fan. 25 years later, I am no longer a Saga fan. I regard Saga as light-weight from the 1980s synth band era. Human League comes to mind.

I still gives my old Saga CDs a spin now and then. But I have moved on from Saga over to proper prog rock. But I still have a soft spot for Saga and I am forever grateful to that band. I can honestly say that they gave my life a better direction. And what more can a human being ask for ?

I may give Human Condition a spin later (I got it through a friend).

I've received an advance copy as I did the PA interview with Saga. I've been listening to some of their stuff from the last decade or so, and it is hit & miss. The PA ratings seem pretty spot on quality wise.
The new one - well ... if you loved their albums up & including Heads or Tales, you'll like this one. The guitar & keyboard interplay is excellent. And the songwriting matches their early 80s peak. Or, for those who loved the aspects that early  Saga contributed to Neo, then this is one you have to get. Apart from that, you'll have to wait for my review on its' release date and or PA's posting of the interview.
I'm glad to see King BY-Tor do a review on the Contact CD/DVD set. I had read some reviews of the actual shows on some of their fan sites. And King pretty much echoes their opinions, i.e. Sadler goes out on a high !
So open thy wallet and support great prog.

I think SAGA is an excellant band and is under rated. The Human Condition Album is very well put together. Every Album has something to offer. If you like Saga, then you may want to give The Flower Kings a try. And another not well known is The Explorers Cub.
