I lied.

Only part of the first track sounded cheesy.

The rest was very good to excellent. Big smile

Hello Sleeper.

How could you forget the sunscreen? LOL That does suck though. Where did you go camping?

Call me Luke. Well, I dunno how EVERYONE in my extended family forgot to bring sunscreen, but we did. Even when someone left  to go get something (SEVERAL times) it seemed to escape them. We're paying for it now though. LOL We went to Mojave Narrows in Hesperia, CA. Not really that nice of a place, but it's passable. Needed a change of scenery for a day or two. The Trip wore me out though, been sleeping all day. XD

So, how've you been?

Doing pretty good, Luke. My weekend was fairly interesting. My family and I went to a horse racing track about an hour away yesterday and the crowd was nuts. I heard one of the people who worked there mentioned about 25,00 people. And that was just the number watching the races, not everyone on the entire grounds. It even took us about 40 minutes to get out of the parking lot. Wacko

And call me David btw. LOL

63 in 45 at night in light rain because there was no traffic around. I was talking to my sister and I realized how fast I was going right before he pulled me over. In a way I had this coming because I speed all the time and Manassas is swarming with cops handing out speeding tickets. He didn't give me a fines chart like he was supposed to, so I have no idea how much it will be and I can't find out because all the offices are closed. I thought he might be nice because it's my first offense, but he didn't give me much of an opening to apologize or anything, and I assume he wasn't. All I'm hoping is that Virginia's hardcore attitude on speeding tickets doesn't extend past the rape charge of reckless driving if you go 20 over.

Sounds like you had a more exciting weekend than I did. My late uncle was a horse racing enthusiast, never been myself, but I'd like to go one of these days. Tongue

Well, that sucks a lot. Hopefully he doesn't try and extort half your insurance premiums or something. Although I am somewhat surprised that he didn't give you a chance to say anything. Maybe he's low on his quota of speeding tickets for the month.

It's interesting stuff, and I'm a bit of a gambling man myself. Although I tend to be more geared towards things like poker, blackjack, etc. I can at least read a basic horse racing program and understand what it's saying though. Too bad I didn't win any money yesterday. Embarrassed
