Trying to multitask here  .. Great review, Mike  ! I know very little of Saga, but I've always been interested in listening to some of their proggier material (not a big fan of AOR, I'm afraid). Looking forward to reading your review, Rob... Have you by chance seen mine? It took me quite a long time to write... Bedlam is not an easy album to review, as it is not easy to listen to.

Thanks Raff! I think this album has both of that - some AOR, but the title track and a few of the others are amazing, I can't stress that enough.

Raff, I specifically made it a point to read yours before I wrote mine. I was surprised at how I treated that album when I actually sat down to write my review.

He's on television with The Art Blakey Quartet from the 1960s. It's amazing stuff. Next up is Thelonius Monk. I'm in heaven here.

Huh? Not a big fan of AOR, but you're of BOC? That's quite controversial I'm afraid 
|
Only a part of BOC's output is AOR, and even then, their take on the genre is quite different from your average Foreigner or REO Speedwagon. Obviously, though, the reason why I love BOC is not their AOR production, but something else ...
