Jimmy! We're more alike every day! I had no idea you were a master behind the lens Clap

So long as we're at it - I see your puffin and raise you a Swan and a Coot!

And I'll even go in and gamble with this shot taken by my lovely lady of a blue heron:

More bird pics!!

Pchaw! Only one bird each...?

I'll see your swan/heron combination & raise you an entire bird colony

Cape St Mary's (you guessed it...) Nfld.

Taken in a very precarious position whilst Vicky looked on & Peter was having a heart attack in the background, owing to my proximity to the 400 foot drop

WOW! Clap

I haven't even had the chance to encounter something like that. Other than maybe... a flock of ducks

Just out of curiosity there Jim, what lens is that? Me and the girl are thinking of investing in a 10-22mm wide lens, but I think a remote flash is more in order first...

From memory, I believe the colony shot was taken using an 18mm & the puffin shot was @ 85mm

Nice flock shots btw - the only one I have close to a flock shot was this one:

Cod fishermen, Ellison, Nfld

OK OK - yes it's Nfld again (I bought the Nikon digital just before we went the first time - prior to that I was a confirmed 35mm man) I keep forgetting to upload shots to Photobucket, so only have a limited selection there

Enough of the birds already - here - have a squirrel:

...and a lighthouse:

...and a humpback whale:

+++note to self, must re-upload these photos full sized+++

Vicky's not a shabby photographer either:

...and finally from me some random graffiti:

Oh, that may explain why they ring a bell. Are your daughters studying at McGill? I think I might have spoke to one of them at a recent party. LOL

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

Yeah... Tongue
This time, i was aware that a picture was being taken. In all the other photos, i've been unaware and thus i've had a very weird face expression. Hence the hiding of my face Tongue
