wow, quite a progressive slate there. Confused You are definitely in a USA-nostalgia mood. Cool because Darkness is amazing . LOL

In the Stockmann department store (the largest department store in all nordic countries, I just learned from Wikipedia) in Helsinki there's this biannual Crazy Days sale week, where there's tons of great cd's for 6,90 euros each. I've made some great discoveries there before, always coming home with ten or so albums. Last year I had this "everybody's so fired up about Dylan, let's see what the fuzz is about" thing with Highway 61 Revisited and I also got a few older Youngs to go with it. Now Sleeps with Angels was the only Young they had I didn't have and I wanted to expand my Dylan knowledge since Highway and Modern Times had worked very well lately (my girlfriend got Bringing It All Back Home, which seemed really good). Those Springsteens I got for the same reason I'd gotten that one Dylan last year, and the first listens promised a lot Smile Darkness sounded a lot like the Making Movies-Love Over Gold era Dire Straits which I love so much. If I hadn't been listening to Nick Drake and Neil Young for the two previous days but let's say Skid Row and Guns N' Roses instead, I might have come home with a bagful of Mötley Crüe and Judas Priest Big smile

Is that Stray as in the 1970s hard rock band? If it is and you like them, there's a great version of "Suicide" on YouTube just now.
