Yes, that stuff is just flat out sick and all it does is desensitize people
to what should be held sacred, and that is the miracle of human sentient
existence. Remember when it was called the personal department? Now it's called
human resources; starting to get the picture? The ship called humanity is way off course and we as a bunch really need to work on getting that ship back on course. |

I don't see much human existence in the above picture, just a dead body. The only potential problem I would see with such exhibitions is whether the original, umm, 'wearers' of the bodies consented to such use of them.
Seriously now, I'd prefer my dead body to be devoted to medical purposes, but to be honest I don't care what's done with it, as long as it's not used to do anything harmful. It'd end up as worm food or ash anyway. Your point about the personal (personell?) department vs human resources is well taken, but IMO at worst it's just calling a spade a spade. At best 'human resources' will still be treated like people - as far as such treatment is possible in a capitalist economy, anyway. Edited by Visitor13 - March 15 2009 at 12:03 |

I've already told my friends. I want to be cremated, and then have my ashes baked into a cake. Then the cake can be fed to my enemies as a joke. Then their feces will be launched into space.

Just buried now I'm becoming increasingly conventional, but not in a mass grave! And if my facial features are still preserved by some strange fortune when some trespasser disturbs my rest and no one who might have known me is alive (let's say 100 or 120 years after my passing), they may put my body on display if they want to.

where is the 'have my memories preserved in a computer database and resurrect the corpse as a cyborg' option?
I mean yeah its a few years off but I think the technology holds some promise |

My body will float down the muddy river until a fisherman finds it and steals my watch.

I can only guess from your post that you'd like to be buried. Can we at least dig you? Edited by Slartibartfast - June 01 2009 at 08:57 |

Other:
I have specified that my brain be kept alive and full of oxygen untill a suitable replacement body is found. I don't plan on asking my executor how this replacement is found. If I eventually strike it super rich then I suppose I could just clone myself.
