Umm....is it cheating to say 90125? How about.......Big Generator? Talk? Open Your Eyes?
So I'm a die-hard yes fan. With rabin, without. I don't mind.
Funnily enough, those 4 albums are probably the ones I find most embarrassing to own, even though they might be considered prog!
That said, I love them all very dearly. And I will always admit that!

Nothing is a guilty pleasure to me, but as most of my friends are classic rock/metal listeners, most of my avant garde collection, or most anything that might appear on this site, would be a nadir to their ears.
Especially good ol' Naked City.

How about this for embarrassing: I love some of Chris De Burgh's earlier stuff, especially his album "Crusaders" actually a fine concept album and well worth listening to. But I hold my head up high! Other embarrassing stuff: The Carpenters, "Calling Occupants" I love it.

I enjoy Korn`s old material and Drowning Pools old material.
Most people frown on those forms of music, those are the two bands i wouldnt show my friends lol

Nothing embarrassing there - Crusader & Spanish Train are great albums; I think he was pretty good up until 'The Getaway', containing the excellent (and quite proggy  ) 3 part-er, "Revolution"

Abba! and now Metallica and Megadeth. The last two may not sound embarrassing to most, but believe me when I tell my brother how opened minded I've become in the last couple of years, its embarrising.
I still can't convince him that Iron Maiden are great, after all he loves Genesis, oh well it pays to have an open mind, I've experienced so much great music when I've disposed my hangups , found some interesting metal, pop music etc.

Also I get a bad time by anyone that I mention to that I like bands with Phil Collins.

Do Depeche Mode count? I absolutely love their music. It is catchy and clever synth pop. I also love The Cure, Simple Minds, The Corrs, Neil Diamond, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Abba, Madonna and a host of others. Come to think of it - I am not really embarrassed by any music I listen to except perhaps "Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman & Howe".

I have been listening to quite a bit of 80's pop and new wave lately like Squeeze,Split Enz,Talk Talk(AWESOME),Joe Jackson,Hall & Oates and.......Duran Duran.Not embarrased by it at all,but my wife thinks it's funnier than hell.

Alright, I LOVE video game music.
It sounds silly, but if you listen to some old NES music, there is some really interesting use of synths and stuff. Strange, otherworldly stuff.
I busted out my Super NES the other day and was playing "Donkey Kong Country 2", and I was thinking, what the hell, the music in this game is great. if this were a band, I would buy their album...
Also, I used to love Creed.

Although I heard "What If?" the other day, and it still kind of rocks

Nothing embarrassing about the Carpenters at all - she had a heavenly voice. Wife, son, & I watched Mamma Mia, the film, on Sunday. Have to say, they were a great pop group and I found myself really enjoying the music

Yes it seems so harmless initially -- nice synths, good pop values with just a bit of complexity thrown in, almost proggy here and there in fact -- then you end up like me, actually contemplating the purchase of the ABBA box set
