I picked up these two today. I've listened to Colors so far and really liked it. Have yet to listen to Crack the Skye, will probably do it tomorrow when it's not so late.

The only remasters that you can find pretty much anywhere now is up to and including "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". I should've bought all the remasters when they were still easy to find! Ouch
I currently miss:
  • Born Again
  • Seventh Star
  • The Eternal Idol
  • We Sold our Soul for rock n Roll (If it counts)
Cry

I think all of these are still available in Finland. It's not so long ago that I bought Born Again (a seriously underrated album) and just a couple of weeks ago I bought The Eternal Idol for only 4,90€, and it was new.  I've got the impression that you live in Sweden, if so, take a ferry to Helsinki and come shopping Wink

I once sent some cd's and cassettes to a friend in Indonesia, and it ended up costing only about 5 euros if I remember right. But that was five years ago, a couple of months ago I sent ten cd's to a friend in Oulu (a town in northern Finland) and it cost me almost ten euros. So the times they are a-changing.

^Painkiller = heavy metal at its finest Clap BTW, at least my pressing of Live Evil is a rare example of an over 80 minutes long cd, the other one that I have is the first disc of the Kalevala Prog collection.

I think the title track stinks (the only song from the album i've heard) Dead
Cool! I used to have the early CD pressing of "Live evil", but i sold it for some stupid reason. Silly me!
Not sure if it was the ultra-long-CD, though.

^Listen to Halford delivering the line "ripping our hearts" in Hell Patrol. The best metal vocal performance ever.

I'm a big Maiden fan and I have very little interest in Priest's other work, but for me the Painkiller album is the epitome of heavy metal.

i was admittingly a little disappointed with the Area album, due to the sound quality, but i think i can overcome that, as ive been able to listen to it again after owning it for about 3 weeks and only listening the day i got it.

the rest of the albums ive gotten have been nothing short of AWESOME!!!

I like what I've heard, but not in the amounts that would make me want to dig deeper into their catalogue. I've got Screaming for Vengeance, which is very good at times, but the sound is very powerless compared to Painkiller, and I'm not even gonna go into Halford's performance. The other songs (very few) outside those two albums have been kind of meh... It's a good band overall, don't worry. Wink
