"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

^Mmm... I'd say this is quite versatile psychedelic rock, but most of his other stuff I'm familiar with is either acoustic singer/songwriter material or slightly experimental rock. The track called Unreachable which I was talking about is at his Myspace site, go and have a listen: http://www.myspace.com/johnfrusciantemusic
It's playing right now Another high point is a song called Dark/Light, which is a two part song; the dark part being a brilliant melancholy piano ballad which then turns into an upbeat drum machine backed bass jam. Edited by Keppa4v - March 28 2009 at 10:25 |

Another serious top 5 of the year candidate. In the individual songs category Unreachable is likely to be very close to the top. The instrumental section is stunning. |

Third time today, gets better and better I'm surprised if this won't make it to my top 5 of the year. Pleasantly surprised too, because that would mean a hell of a year music-wise. |

Yes, and I'm planning to write a review of it....The rating is way too low, Beat is an album that deserves some more love!
