I like TMV's debut because they toned down the excesses (still could've cut 15-20 minutes and made it much better, though).  Frances had its moments, but actually listening to it straight through is a chore.  Amputechture is a disaster, with occasional redeeming moments, but unsatisfactory on the whole.  Bedlam is better than Amputechture, and is probably around the level of Frances.  The only one I really care for is the debut, and even then I only listen sparingly.
