YEEEEAAAHHHH!
Report from the "Greenford Daily Leader" dated 4th April 09.....
"Police were called to an address near the Ballot Box pub in the early hours of the morning to investigate a serious outbreak of Prog - loud music by Genesis and other such 70's bands were being played, alarming the local residents who are normally used to listening to Rap music blaring from small hatchbacks - the shock was too great and many fainted....there were no arrests but cautions were issued to a group of inebriated Gentlemen, muttering about Sheds and Real Ale..."
hmmmmm....maybe not

"Beefburger & chips Chicken nuggets & chips Cheese & tomato pizza & chips (V) Fish shapes & chips Ham sandwich, cheese triangle & Lite Walkers crisps PLUS Mini Milk & a choice of Fruit Shoot drink (orange & peach - strawberry - apple & blackcurrant - apple)"
no wonder kids are so fat physically challenged these days

At the moment I'm particularly fond of Wilkin & Sons gooseberry jam. If we can organise a selection of crumpets, muffins and a nice big pot of builder's tea we'll have all the makings of a decent brekker!
Unless anybody fancies a fry up...

This what you had in mind, Chris?
A little something I prepared when Neil, Vicky and I were on the canals last year (looked so good, I had to record it for posterity) - if I say so myself, I'm a hell of a short order cook
Mind you with my current cholesterol @ 7.6, maybe I'd better stick to porridge

A very happy birthday to the Mrs, Alan.
Today,I shall be making the first cut of the lawn since the end of last November.I have to be careful not to chop down the snowdrops and crocuses.

^Do what I do then. For sound H&S reasons you should wear ear defenders - particularly if you have an electric or petrol driven mower. But there's nothing to stop you having your mp3 earphones underneath the ear protectors to while away the mowing to some decent music.
Ah bliss - and they don't have to be loud either. Normal volume does for me (about 1 on a scale of 1-10)

The garden looks good.Even the lawn looks good especially for the Spring 'wake up' cut.Crocuses and snowdrops unharmed.
Borders re-edged and gullied.Proper job.

Now I suppose I'll have to do mine - well in a few days perhaps - I have to allow for the climate to catch us up up North
