Oh wow that took way too long, I was not expecting to spend an hour on that. But I've never done something like that before, and I learned some things about Photoshop along the way, so it's all good. I hope you agree that the result was worth the time.

Dylan, I am impressed if you did that in Paint. You should use GIMP for a free image editor, though, you'll get much better and quicker results.

I thought the color for the sickles looked weird too, but I copied the red directly from the background of the Wikipedia image for the flag, so I didn't want to try to screw with things to fix it.

Also, you actually have Wikipedia to thank for the transparent hammer and sickle, not crazy blog guy. I can see by your cropping that you must have put a significant amount of time into your new avatar, pnoom, but I think the red squares don't look good, even though the flag was technically a red square and not a free standing hammer and sickle.
