Im curious what other musicians out there use and how they use it (for fun, a band, recording other bands etc.)
I must admit im a pretty spoiled 16 year old (even though all I ask for during Cristmas and Birthday is musical equipment and most of it is my Dads that he lets me use all the time) Electric Guitars: PRS Custom 24 Acoustic Guitars: Martin Steve Howe Signature Seagull Grand Artist Amps: Peavy Deuce (120 watt tube amp) Peavy Valve King (50 watt tube amp) Keyboards: Roland X8 Effects: Line 6 XT Live Boss Analog - Flanger, Heavy Metal(distortion), Chorus, Noise Suppresser Morely Wah Pedal Recording: Boss BR-1600CD 16 track recorder I also have two Peavy Cabnets and two Sunn Cabnets and a Mixing board from the 70's I think. I play in two bands and I also get paid for recording local bands and allowing them to use my equipment.

Get a PRS Custom 24 if you can afford one. It has such a wide range of tones, and have two sets of humbukers, not just one. They also look beautiful.

Yeah they're great fun to play, my parents think I'm mad for spending all my money on this stuff. I'll convert some of my new tape recordings to digital and put them up on myspace sometime in the future. http://www.myspace.com/britishtradition there's some old stuff on there at the moment though.

Bass is my main instrument. Currently I have three. I also have an electric guitar and two acoustic guitars (one steel string and one classical). My main amp is an old Peavey Basic 60 50 watt bass combo, perfect for home use (I rarely play with others), that I will replace eventually, probably with an Ashdown combo of some sort, or another Peavey. I also have a small 15 watt bass combo that isn't really worth mentioning.
List: Basses: Fender Classic 60's FSR Jazz Bass (blows American Vintage out of the water. Seriously) Peavey Millennium 4 (the old version, US made. Not to be confused with the current import BXP) Ibanez Roadstar II RB630 (Made in Japan, 1987. I'm about to sell this one and replace it with a 1980 Ibanez Musician MC824) Guitars: Epiphone G-400 (traded it with a friend for another old Epiphone I had. It's in a pretty messy state but is perfectly playable and sounds good) Amada 4870 (Czech made classical guitar. Very pretty, sounds good) Daion Year series The '78 Century (Beautiful steel string acoustic by this undeservedly forgotten Japanese brand) Amps you already know. I'm only going to list real equipment, to list all the junk in my basement would take forever.
Guitars: 1958 Gibson, 60's Hagstrom, custom guitar that I made (moderately strat shaped and very customized), Hagstrom Viking (my most used), Alvarez acoustic 12 string, Alvarez handmade acoustic (this being the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen), Fender Acoustic.
Bass: ESP Bass, I recently sold my Fender and will most likely be purchasing another
Drumset: I have it narrowed down to a 4 peice Ludwig drumset, can't recall the model, with varying cymbals, except my drummer's cymbals are here right now any way, ranging from Zildian to.....Istanbul? (the name is completely obliterated).
Harmonica: I have a large set of Lee Oskar Harmonicas, predominantly Diatonic harps, just started getting minors, and have a few Hehring diatonics.
Keys: Fender Rhodes Seventy, on top of a very large amp that it came suited with, Hammond L-100 Organ, Hammond Piper Organ, some cheapo digital keyboards from when I was a little kid, Alesis Micron synth (great for the Moog sound), and soon I'll have a Wurlitzer 200A.
Amps : Theres a moderate bass amp, but my bassist brings over his amp anyway.
Guitar Amps: Hughes and Kettner combo outputted to a marshall cab with customized Celestion speakers, as well as nice tubes. Carvin LX-100 head into marshall cab (maybe mine or my friends), Behringer PA, which takes whatever we need an amp for at the moment. Fender Vibrochamp, which I have since updated to a harmonica amplifier.
I used to be real into Rage Against the Machine as a kid, so my pedal board is pretty heavy, plus I've added many in the previous years.
Digitech Whammy Pedal, Vox Wah, Crybaby Wah (not in use since I've updated to the Vox), Smallstone Phase Shifter, MXR Distortion Plus(greatest fuzz I've ever seen, somebody gave it to me in a bar in California, and it is the original 60's-70's release of the pedal), vintage Ibanez Flanger, Arbiter Fuzzface (no longer in use), and an entire digitech display case pedal board that I got as one unit since I was friends with the owner.... it ranges from Delay, overdrive, reverb, phaser, flanger,chorus, auto-wah, and many more things.
Mics: Have several mics and stands (not many worth mentioning except the Shure mics), one condenser mic, and my harmonica bullet mic which is a Hohner.
