A different kind of drum poll

Here are some drummers which are all excellent, but which rarely get mentioned, if at all. Some names will even be completely unknown to many. I did not include my favourite five, simply because I mentioned them elsewhere already and don't like sounding like a fangirl. If anyone is curious about my favourite five, he or she can always ask or try to look up one of the posts where I mentioned them.
You will notice there are a lot of German drummers included. This was done on purpose, because German musicians are generally underrepresented in polls, though there are definitely a lot of excellent ones. Germany seems to be a kind of terra incognita for many, yet I assure you: Hic sunt leones! (Translation: There are lions here).

Yes, I could have mentioned them too, especially Cress. Isn't the spelling "Bornhold" though?
What hardly anyone knows: Udo Lindenberg, who is best known for his career as singer, was an excellent drummer too and played with Passport. He has hardly done any drumming for the last almost 40 years though.

I'll try to introduce those drummers by finding something with them in it on YouTube. I will start with Jarrod Cagwin, who has a little solo at the beginning of this track before the rest of Rabih Abou-Khalil's excellent band join in. This is a very recent video, showing Abou-Khali's band in the current line-up. We heard a concert of them on the radio two or three days ago, and it was excellent, with lots of highly funny announcements by Abou-Khalil in flawless German (he speaks it without any accent, although he was already 20 when he came to Germany).

Thanks for the different drum poll Baldfriede.Curt Cress is a great drummer and I love Orange Peel.Hiseman is excellent both in Colosseum and Tempest but I really enjoy his work in Colosseum 2.If german musicians are under represented it's maybe because of so many people knowing 2 or 3 details about Krautrock and being happy with it,forgetting other bands such as Embryo,Pell Mell,Novalis.....

I know only a few of them, but Harald Grosskopf gets my vote. His drumming on 'Mindphaser' (the second track of Klaus Schulze's 'Moondawn'-album) is superb and essential.

jon hiseman out that list,    jan fride is next he is another great drummer listen to kraan live ,where is curt cress and eroc .

I only know... two of them  , being the two Crimson drummers Giles and McCulloch. In this situation I don't dare to vote, but Michael Giles is one of my favourite drummers.
