Long time dear friend,English keyboardist Nick Magnus http://www.magnus-music.com/hexameron/index.htm (Steve Hackett/Enid); has informed this Los Angeles guitarist he is playing a 30 minute 'unplugged' duet with John Hackett in Germany !! A upcoming very rare live performance indeed... Steve Hackett event March 27 & 28 2009 in Germany. Also,Steve's doing an acoustic set too. Should be awesome ! ! ! Steve Hackett's keyboard player will be part of the Event: NICK MAGNUS Keyboardist Nick Magnus has played in Steve's former live band as well as on many of his albums,tours throughout the years. Nick Magnus will join John Hackett live on stage for a never before seen acoustic set. A true world premiere !! A Steve Hackett Event 2009 organized by the 5:00 pm admission 9:30 pm "The Watch" Live early Genesis set in between and later with a extensive exhibition about Steve Hackett never seen before,collector's market, autographs and photo opportunities. Good! Good for them. Because I heard the last time John Hackett had a London date booked (The Borderline) the venue/promoter actually cancelled it through lack of sales. I think advance orders were rumoured to be only 17 or something depressing .
Glad to see the Germans have more taste - and enough substance to actually get out there and support innovative artists like this with actual concrete ticket sales.
