We have shake bars here (Shakeaway) that will make a milk shake with just about any ingredient you care to name - sherbet and licorice being my personal favourite.

The bubblegum scented burping isn't fun either! Who the dickens invented that foul liquid? If you need a shot of cafeine, grab a cup of coffee!
I frequented a shake bar with my daughter whilst Chistmas shopping, I had crunchie milk shake, she had wagonwheel.............. it was VILE.............. but at least you couldn't tell how much the wagon wheels had shrunk since I was a kid! |

I like the taste of children's cough medicine like Calpol.
However, Red Bull is horrid. The cheap alternative Red Square is even worse. I used to drink Vodka Redbulls at University and I have no idea why. |

To get blotto - it's the only reason anyone drinks them - it certainly isn't for the taste

But vodka and a mixer of choice was the same price. Vodka coke tastes a lot better (as long as it's not diet, that stuff tastes horrid). |

I'm going to come in for some flak here, but I have to admit I love McDonalds shakes; admittedly you need to suck so hard on them you're in danger of imploding, but it's so nice when you get that hit of chocolate flavoured iced chemicals...mmmm yum OK, I can see the possible pleasure of a crunchie flavoured shake & almost understand why a child would order a wagon wheel one, but Dean!!! Sherbert & Licorice???? You Sick Puppy |

^ They use to do ones made with Fisherman's Friends
I loved McD's shakes until I once left a half finshed one for a hour or so before disposing of it - even at room temperature it was stilll a thick shake .... that's just not right.

I like McDonalds shakes, though only as dessert cause they're too thick to drink with the food, I'll have a coke thank you .. the quality of the food at McDonalds in Britain and Europe is generally much higher than here. When you're talking cheap fastfood, that matters

Sucking on a fisherman's friend...? Nope - Not going there!
Only an hour or so...? If you leave them for over 2 hours they can be used as external rendering |

Sherbet and licorice shakes. Sounds brilliant. Just lead me to them.
Licorice - Arrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Talking of licorice (apologies but we call it liquorice up north) have you tried eating a liquorice all sort - the plain black ones - then drinking some beer. The taste is to be believed. An alternative is black midget gems but they have to be the Lion brand as made in Huddersfield. Or Pontefract Cakes.

Don't care how you spell it, that black stuff is disgusting - you lot will be recommending licorice & beetroot concoctions next; I'm going to put on my best huff & leave in it

Reminds me of what Jared said last year when we went to see Nightwish here and he had a McDonalds "This tastes like cardboard". Remind me never to eat a McDonalds in America, the British ones are vile enough. |

Micky often goes to McDonalds for lunch, but I'd never touch the stuff, not even with the proverbial ten-foot pole. The smell that comes out of those places would be enough to put me off their so-called 'food' for the rest of my life. On the other hand, 'real' hamburgers here can be absolutely delicious, even if they're not precisely healthy.
