Just in case of course.

I still have to work on my GG appreciation, with me still being a GG n00b and all.  There is definitely some good stuff happening here musically.  I think that where GG stands out amongst the other classic prog bands however is with their vocal arrangements, and those are still a bit rough to my ears.  I like Free Hand.  It could potentially be love with some more familiarity and with me becoming more acclimated to their vocal style.

Took me a while to get used to too, and I'm only now starting to appreciate stuff like Knots. Although I think that Spock's Beard eased me into that kind of crazyness with their pair of Thoughts songs. On Reflection and the title cut are two of my favorite GG songs

^Approve Haven't listened to them for a year now, but they used to be my favorite back then. Still enjoy them every time they pass through the radio or music channels..

I haven't spun this for a while, either. INXS had great pop sensibilities that blended new wave with dance/funk. Too bad about Hutchence, though. Not sure whatever happened with them and the dude from the whole Rock Star thing.

Favorite tunes: "The Stairs", "Beautiful Girl", "Don't Change", "New Sensation" and "Listen Like Thieves"

Yours?

^let me think, hmm....

'Us'(with the new singer), 'Kick', 'Wild Life', 'Same Direction' and 'Bitter Tears'.  'The Stairs' and 'Don't Change' are great too from your list, as well as New Sensation and Listen Like Thieves, I was never really fond of the popularity of Beautiful Girl.

I like the INXS song with the video where they stand there with the cue cards with the words on them.  I can't recall its name at the moment.

I doubt that this will ever be my thing because the vocals are pretty horrible but I enjoyed this for the music more than I have in the past.

You find the vocals on Yeti bad?Shocked

Yes Big smile

Once again I find out that my taste differs substantially from that of other prog lovers. Ministry is the worst DT song I know, and they have a lot of them.

I think that's "Mediate" from Kick.

Not just bad, but bordering on horrible.  Almost unlistenable.  I bought this album about 10 years ago and listened to it once or twice and pretty much labeled it the worst album in my collection I thought it was so horrible.  I dusted it off and listened to it again and I found the music to be better than I remembered but the vocals were still horrible.
