This is actually my second listen to Magma, after one aunt was going on about them. First time I stopped at some kind of marching rythm, this time I got through their first three albums, at least.

Unlike Jane's Together earlier today*, this album is more of an one-shot wonder. While Gamma Ray easily is a five star hard rock number, the rest are just average to upper average.

* I usually rate Daytime, Wind, Spain or Hangman as their best, depending on which I'm listening to at the moment.
