^glad you appreciate so much the music of my country That one of Pescado is really a Spinetta solo album, rather than being Pescado Rabioso, jus that label pressure.... My fave of them(Pescado) is 2, but Desatormentandonos is not far behind. What have you heard of Spinetta Jade, or you have all of their discs?

Essentially a death metal album with black metal production. The growls are far too deep for my taste, but the music has grown on me over the years I owned it.

Damn, I was thinking of disliking this each time I didn't listen to it, now I hear it again, it's still up there.

I'm honestly inclined to stop playing what I already do and follow your lead, but I would have to stop my metal intake, and I'm highly unlikely to stray from a style per day. What a great record that is, though. Not many songs would rate higher than The End in my opinion. The Meads of Asphodel - The Excommunication of Christ.

You're from Argentina? Very cool! I don't even speak Spanish but I've been really digging the music of your country. The only Spinetta Jade I have heard is Los niņos que escriben en el cielo. I think it was the thin 80s production and funk influences that didn't click with me. Alma de diamante has a higher rating on RYM, should I check that one out or is it very similar to Los niņos for my tastes?

Hmm, can't re-tell about the album you got. But yeah, Spinetta Jade's later music is jazz fusion with some funk-cliches. But Alma de Diamante is a classc Spinetta(Jade) album, I highly recomend it if you're that of a "fan'' of him, I don't remember that one having funk elements, being totally sincere. Check that one for sure. If you ever get to like a bit more of jazz fusion with funk elements I highly recomend you Bajo Belgrano, simply stunning.

Funny how you forget completely about a band.
