Hey, it wasn't all Magma. I gave them some Trout Mask Replica for easy listening, too.

A week listening to Magma? Now I understand why you had to tie them up!

About these "chicks"; did you untie them and let them go later?

Quite. In the UK in the 70s Magma, Can and VDGG were all filed under Pop. As they were in Germany I guess. Fortunately we dont use this catch-all system in the real world.

^^ It was the same way in Michigan where I grew up as well, but then we had a large Dutch population so maybe that helped.

Led Zeppelin by the size of the universe.
I might be underrating Zep there, but it's close enough.

Can you believe the score in this poll .
I didn't think there were so many of us proggies around . |
Actually in Germany both Rush and Led Zeppelin are filed under "hard rock". Yes, Rush are NOT filed under prog here
|
Is that in the official German registry of music? Wow!

well, Rush had been trailing by something between 100 and 200 votes all the time, so some Rush fan seems to have done it first. I can hardly imagine anything more silly

Neither can I, but it's been fun to watch - and, yes I only voted once
|
It's not that I can't find worth in anything, it's just that I can't find worth in enough.

Strictly progressively-speaking, Rush would easily get my vote. However, all things considered, I have to vote for Led Zeppelin, who is a band that is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.
