So here it is, I got bored today and got out the admittedly rather outdated and obsolete digital camera because I can't afford an actual video camera per se and just me playing stuff

Here ya go, that would be me playing a portion of the instrumental section of  A Fair Judgement by Opeth.
It's sloppy, yeah I know.
Lesson 101, don't try to record yourself playing something you haven't practiced in a month, trying to come back to it in the hope you can still play it at your best, because you wont be able toLOL
I'll re practice the guitar solo that goes over that rhythm guitar section and I'll post that up too.

Admittedly, I know jack all about film editing.
My plan was to actually just play the solo over a pre-recorded backing track anyway.

Okay, not the Opeth solo, but lately I've been practicing my vibrato a lot and trying to inject more feeling into my playing to try to avoid the dreaded the "Bedroom shredder syndrome" sound that often afflicts many young players as a result of not learning how to do the essentials to playing with real feeling, which to me vibrato and bending are 2 important aspects of that.
Real quick video really.

The batteries just died in the camera about a minute ago, goddamn it. I'll have to wait until perhaps Monday to do it then, since I wont be online at all tomorrow and half of Sunday I'm too busy anyway, plus I need to scour for money for batteries. Urghh, wish we kept spare batteries around this house, geezus.

It doesn't take rechargeable batteries dude, it's a pretty crappy camera, I need to buy a new one one day.
Look, since I should have time, I'll try to record 2 guitar solos instead of one on Monday.

I still remember when Harry said he'd had the solos going in a few days...

I wanna hear you solo, Hughes! Cool

Maybe you could mix the live sound with the backing in a DAW to get better overall sound quality?

It'd do your fine playing more justice!
The important thing is not to stop questioning.
