Marvel Comics grew fast on me when I was young and I discovered them again 10 years ago when all these movie projects such as XMen,Blade came to the fore.I'm still astonished by these works, what do you think of all these great artists and pick your favorite.

Gonna have to go with John Byrne.  His work on the X-Men and FF were stellar.  Not too shabby of a writer either.  Funny, after your mention of Marvel Comics in the What If poll, I was thinking of starting a poll myself.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Whoever's doing Deadpool at the moment. Every comic should look like that.

I am only familiar with Jack Kirby and Alex Ross. I guess I've seen some of Ditko's stuff too. I don't read Marvel stuff very much.

Romita Sr. was a god for me as a kid, just the best, especially Spiderman and Black Panther

and of course Alex Ross is a genius, best thing to come along in years

Sorry Lazland,I've sometimes seen Sal Buscema's works but since I know John far better than Sal,I think it's more honest that I talk about what I really know.Sal Buscema also deserves huge credit.

My brother is a psychotic collector of comic books (I'm never helping him move ever again!), and the stuff I liked the most from his collection really was from Alex Ross. Awesome, awesome art!

not much of a comic book guy myself but I have a friend that considers Jack Kirby a god so I voted for him as a proxy
