I love listening to the most weird music while doing random tasks.  Sometimes it serves as a soundtrack, other times it totally conflicts the internal world (headphones) and external world (the location) and makes things interesting.

Me too. I think it's neat.

That's epic win. Big smile

Shoveling was easy today because I didn't even get through the album.  LOL

I had to do some painting (a wall, not art) at night about a month ago, so I put on Aranis on my headphones while I was doing the task.  I was stunned at how peaceful it made me feel, I hadn't felt that relaxed in a while...it was just so serene, and made the task a pleasant one.

I love putting music on while I'm cleaning. I think it would be hell without it.

I agree. Having music on while doing daily tasks like that makes them go much faster.

I think that listening to music while doing daily tasks is another thread in common that us proggers have, as I am the same way.  Definitely, mowing the lawn, shoveling the driveway, and other household tasks are all done with the headphones on and the music playing.

^

Just copied out (well, part of) a massive set of Arabic notes with Pictures At An Exhibition on full blast.

It was surprisingly 'epic'. I sang along for the whole thing.

Shallow, but strangely entertaining.

I've only seen two seasons of Lost though...
