Clap  Now there's something where we could have a good international collaboration... Wink

You can't just say that something is "good!", though. No no. The whole "ah, a tone of apricot and a long, saturated finish with a slight hint of hazelnuts" is what makes it what makes it interesting. Especially when you agree, or disagree for that matter.

LOL

My wife and I used to laugh about people doing that with wine...

...until recently when we were sharing a bottle and caught ourselves doing it.  Embarrassed

I think it's essential when you drink "finely", with an expensive single malt or for every new sort of everything I taste, but it's hardly something you do in the company of friends, getting ready for a night on town Big smile

Oh no, you don't want to come off as a pretentious geek.

Certainly not! Shocked

And I say that being the main composer for CoAM. I could spend a few hours telling someone all of the details and story behind In and Ex, and it's pretentious. LOL

Pretentious is what we're all about!
And honestly, it happens then as well. Luckily I'm not alone with that habit Smile

This will never be a bad thing!

I was trying to explain to my wife yesterday how incredible Wayside was, but for some reason she wasn't interested.  Tongue

I'd be happy enough to marry someone someday who can at least deal with my music tastes.

I try to be realistic. LOL

Here's what I've achieved:  my wife is tolerant of the amount of money I spend on prog.  Good enough for me.  Thumbs Up

Actually, to be honest, the thing that she hates most about a lot of prog is synthesizers.  I was telling her about chamber prog a few weeks ago, and to give her an example I played "Dense" by Univers Zero - and she told me she could actually envision herself listening to stuff like that!  Shocked

Lucky guy.
People have actually decided that my music taste sucks, without knowing what it sounds like.

We fear what we do not understand.
