It's cool that you guys have a good time with the event. Over here it's gotten silly, though. The Super Bowl "event" is much bigger than the game.

It's nice to get a break from the sporting events you usually gather around, and to be honest, the fact that the surrounding events are so heavily out of proportion, the fighters flying over the arena, the half-time show, the whole "World Champions"-stuff, the immense national pride....is what makes it so special. We just don't have anything like that over here, and that's what makes it such a symbol for the US

Pat and James, have you heard Sir Millard Mulch? And would you agree that he is kind of funny but makes very boring music?
He had a good quote about going back in time and killing whoever invented the guitar because the frets let idiots play music, but it's off his website and I'll never find it again. Which is too bad because it is the only thing from him I actually liked.

I've actually spoke to the guy on MySpace several times. He's cool but he has the drummer from Good Charlotte in his band... Oh and Trey Anastasio. I've only heard snippets of his music.

UEFA You have one of the worlds greatest strikers... who's not really Swedish. Zlatan Ibrahimovic You also have Zlatan Muslimovic as well. Everyone remembers Tomas Brolin and Anders Limpar though. I cannot name a single Ice Hockey player av Sverige.

Sorry James, there might be an American football team in Gothenburg. I just didn't realise it. The sport is pretty non-existent here.

It amuses me.
Soccer = Football in the US Gridiron = American Football in the UK
So why can't you guys call it Gridiron so we can have the word Football meaning what it's supposed to mean?
Soccer is a horrid name.

I've not heard an album either, but the full songs and samples I've heard are so musically generic it hurts. He says some interesting things and I'm sure he's a cool guy in real life when he isn't trying too hard like his website and song writing.
I bring it up because he's in SolariS' last.fm charts. ;-)
