ARGH!

I have no time for such idiotic irrelevances.

As for me.  Well I did average at school (I under-achieved actually; I was capable of doing better) but I always wore my uniform correctly and never buckled to peer pressure.

I also try to write/type correctly at all times.  Yes, even when text-messaging.

I guess I have never been like my peers.  I am proud of that fact too.

Didn't you say you wanted to write for a living?

Typing properly would obviously have to be a main priority for you.

My mom used to make us correct and recopy telephone messages and grocery lists (that was in French, of course) if we made spelling errors. I completely resented her for that then, but now I understand how annoying it is to read a text with errors in it.

I find poor spelling even more annoying now because since my students as such terrible spellers in French, most of them can't use the French-English dictionnaries Dead (simple things like cuir/cuire, but sometimes much worse)

liek srsly?

Urgh, yeah, I hate msn sometimes, because I have to ask people what their sentences mean because they leave out half the letters from words.

appparently,  nm=nothing much

But nm could also be easily misinterpreted as =not much
or = now masturbating.

I also had a Saudi Arabian guy (who happens to have the same name as a member of Al Quaida (sp.)) teaching us elements of (Computing) Project Management and he was sometimes hard to understand... not only that but he was a little strict and when you asked him for help he was less than willing to be of assistance.

Yet a guy who taught us at College (who wasn't always the best at teaching) at least did sit down with some of us after class and explain it.  I'm glad he did too.  It certainly made me respect him more.

I've generally had some good teachers so far, so I can't complain too much.

Just an occasional okay one, and then there's this one. Dead

That alone took me from being an A average at math, to dropping the class altogether and wanting to do the subject again because that teacher made the experience frustrating beyond what you could imagine, so I certainly know how it feels to have a teacher who sucks monkey balls at their job.

Fortunately, I'm really good at teaching myself.

I can't imagine what it's like for students who aren't as good at that in this class. It's suicide.

At least she isn't a tough grader. The only thing is that we just don't learn as much, obviously.

I HOPE she doesn't end up being a tough grader.LOL

My worse class/teacher ever: Sociology 101.

I had this teacher who only had one tone (which was weird because rumor had it he used to be part of this separatist terrorist gang), not to mention the most boring topic on earth, but the guy just relentlessly played with the change and keys in his pockets. I only realised it during the second class, but after that, it's all I heard for 14 weeks. Still don't know what this class was about...

Well, I don't expect her to make it exciting even, I just want to LEARN and not do all of the learning by just reading the book on my own. We don't even do anything in class.

Besides, at least the subject matter is a little interesting for me. Could be better for sure, could be worse, but man.

I agree 100%, especially with the bolded part. I think it would also be more interesting if getting on tangents didn't make her babble on and waste an entire class period.Wacko

It's awful since that's my last class too. It goes by SO slowly. LOL

Oh and Mohammed Odeh had his head on upside down too.

Also, there was this deaf guy in our class and he always sat at the front of the lecture theatre with a signer... anyhow, one day he brought in a video camera so he could film the lecture (for lip reading and note taking purposes) but due to Mohammed's religion, he wouldn't let him record and got really defensive about it.  The deaf guy (who also happened to be Asian) wasn't best pleased...

Nor were many of the rest of the class.

I think one time it was over 100. LOL

Oddly enough, I find the fact that she babbles a lot makes the class go really fast.

Oh, I almost forgot about that one girl who always asks her the most inane questions too and she gets dragged out in answering those too. She might be just as annoying.LOL

That sounds annoying.

I quit that program after that semester too.

Actually, I don't like faint background noise type sounds. My partner likes to drive the car with the radio on really low. Just drives me nuts.

*upside-down

Gosh I don't know how I got through that class... I passed it surprisingly.  Yes I can barely remember what it was about... oh yes, SSADM or something or was it Jackson Structured Programming?  Nope, it was OO Design, that was it.
