Henry Cow, UZ, Stravinsky, Cartoon music (they did live covers of the Rocky and Bulwinkle theme LOL) and other chamber prog sort of stuff.

They're rather cheerful and upbeat.

Now PFS are purely chamber prog and much darker. Big smile

See, the thread David (Trouserpress) opened with all that talk of Wayside, well, what happened was, uh,...

PFS - 279
Aleuchatistas - On the Culture Industry

Alas, I still don't have the last track from Music from Left Field, 'cause Sortie doesn't include it.

I did message Scott Brazieal about it but he said he didn't have it.  He said the other member of the band may have it, 'cause he has all the bootleg material.  I shall message him on Facebook.

Bump.

I couldn't even tell you.  LOL

I went nearly a whole year without listening to them.

But I've heard like 140 tracks in the past 11 days. LOL

Yep, it was the Brazilian Cartoon that I heard.  Here is their website http://www.bandacartoon.com.br/index3.htm  which had the free downloads.  Definitely more of a symphonic prog than a RIO/Avant prog.

I'll stick to the avant-prog band.

Yes.  Fortunately, it is pretty rare to find bands with the same name where they both play music that you like.

Just came back for being outside for more than an hour.

It was nice, but now I'm cold.
