Faux-oriental songs... I was just telling my girlfriend the other day how much I hate those. I can barely stand the *dee-dee-doo-doo-doot-doot---doot-doot-dooo* on Passage To Bangkok. It's cheesy! But recently I've been able to stomach it . Luckily it's followed by the most wonderful, High Water

And you call yourself a Rush fan. We might have to revoke your card. I love Passage to Bangkok, and also Neil's reference to it in his drum solo on All the World's A Stage.

Alright. Time to move on to another album that I'd bet my bottom dollar that most Rush fans love.

Last time I heard that album I was kicking a hacky-sack around the highschool I'd have to hear it again, as I recall I was more into mid-Zeppelin. (IV - Presence)

With everything else in the collection I haven't played it in quite a long time myself. But from the first note it just grabs me. Hard to say for sure because I generally hate the whole ranking of things, but Led Zeppelin are definitely one of a handful of contenders for my 3rd favorite band.

They're definitely not that high for me. I generally like them, some material more than others. The only album that I truly like from the first note until the end is Led Zeppelin III, so that's my favorite.

Led Zeppelin III was always my least favorite Zeppelin album. For quite awhile I would never play it back when I used to play Zeppelin all of the time. It's probably still my least favorite but I generally like it now.

Ach! I love III! I even have a vinyl copy with a spinning wheel! I guess my list should be changed to: Zep III - Achilles Last Stand (not the rest of the album )

Really? Funny how tastes differ, haha. I really like the folk feel to it.

We used to have a really cool radio station back in the days I was growing up with the call letters WLLZ. Their motto was the Wheels (WLLZ) that rock the Motor City. But they also took to the saying that WLLZ stood for We Love Led Zeppelin. This music is imbedded deep within my musical soul. I know most proggers complain about radio overplay, but as usual I am different in that respect.
