It can be. It can also just sound awesome. In both cases, I don't care.

I just barely use effects because I just want to get on with the job and just play really. The reverb and delay is just there automatically for lead guitar playing, since that's a pretty standard thing to do, but otherwise I don't feel the need to drench my playing in excesses of chorus, flanger or whatever, I've just never found a use for it that sounded good to me.

Yeah, I can understand that. I enjoy using effects on my sax, flute, harmonica and stuff cause it's unusual and it allows me to sound totally unique. I also like sonic exploration.

Yeah, that's fair enough. I guess one day I might find effects that do that for me as well, just haven't yet really.

Ok, has PetrucciPal always claimed to be a girl? Because while I can buy someone typing like an idiot, I have trouble believing that the combination is not some attempt to piss us off, even though a girl typing like that is more likely. But maybe that's just me.
Yeah Harry it's been like a month. I would have had it done sooner but my professor never gave me a deadline so it dragged on and on...

Not yet - I need to 'wind down' before I hit the hay. I can't walk into the door and sleep. Doesn't work that way.
