A magnificent actor and a sad loss.

Does your "College Of Technology" not encourage the correct use of English? You know, things such as punctuation....

And no doubt being chased by a huge beach-ball (which was later magnificently lampooned by Woody Allen)

I might be sticking my neck out here, but not only it could also be a Shed first, but it also avoided PA's auto-censor...LOL

incidentally, I was always tickled by the scene in Woody Allen's 'Sleeper' when he ran into a cave, only to find a 500 year old VW Beetle, which started first time...LOL

Indeed, Steve.

Some of us were talking about our teachers the other day (see a few pages back), and the coincidence that a few of us had teachers named Freeman.

Well here's another free man.

I hope that there aren't any Rovers in Heaven,Patrick and that Heaven looks like Portmerion.

Ah Portmerion - Vicky and I have been there on a number of occasions; great place for a day out if you're in the Snowdon region of Wales:

Sad news about old #6,  I guess we nver notice our favourite actors aging, especially if we know them mostly for something that is 40 years old!

Our last trip to Port Merion, we excitedly made our way to the prisoners gaff, making lots of hilarious (Ermm ) prisoner jokes and the beloved said to the surly looking teeny goth girl at the counter "is this it? is this the actual house?" in that excited puppy way.................. in reply we got a shrug and "dunno 'specso"  .......... oh dear oh dear.................. not to be daunted though we spent the rest of the afternoon looking around the dog cemetary and doing prisoner impressions quite happily!
It was pretty darn pricey to get in I seem to remember, about £20 and retaurants (cafes) were fairly hiked in price too.................... but no doubt we'll go again just to check out the seasonal staff in the Prisoner house! Wink

I've put my back out, so sitting on one position is about all I can manage............... please put up with me as I struggle through my boredom! Unhappy

There are places you can stay in Portmerion, but if the price to get in and the cafe prices were anything to go by, I think we'll stick to a local B&B in Portmadog instead...

Poor Rach - jet-lag, then you put your back out - happy new year
