Hmm that's weird, I had always thought the Birkin version was the original. It's better in my opinion anyways.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Hey, careful there, I respect Donna.

Apparently Brigitte didn't want her version to be released as she was married with someone else.

Complicated people complicating their lives... Completely idiotic.

Great!
Just yesterday, while I was walking along the streets of a nearby town, I saw my former guitarist. We have not seen each other for like 8 years.  Reuniting the band is being planned.

Ah. I should say that today. It's been raining for the past 2 hours, and it's freakin' cold here.

So:

Podferdeck, Quelle Drache!

LOL

I think it's kind of a colloquial saying... not sure.  Is it the same in Quebecois, Bern?

No we don't use that expression at all here. It's not an official french word. It's just a popular expression used in France.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Yes.

I want you to write down the lyrics to Nuit Câline à la Villa Mon Rêve's songs.

I want to be able to sing along to them.  Don't worry about translating them... unless you feel like it.  I just want to know what French words I'm actually singing.

I recognise some, like Argent, Soleil, apres midi and fenetre
