How are we all this evening/afternoon then?

Decidedly sleepy. Need to do a bit more work, I think, but not likely to.

Ah, it's Sunday.  Work is for Mondays! Big smile

Yes, definitely weirder than usual.

I'm being absolutely consumed by my love for someone, and thus my mind is spinning and insane. The ONLY music I can listen to right now is Meshuggah, or else my mind wanders off.

Okay, I shouldn't have this so loud; I might get a headache. LOL

Oooh, is it anyone we know?! Shocked

Funny you say that, because it is.

There's nothing I can do about it right now though; last time I talked to her was Election Day.

It's just driving me extremely insane today for some reason; for the past 7 days it's just been consuming me more and more. I'm hoping this is the pinnacle, and then I can function for a little while again at least. It goes in cycles of intensity, but I love her so much.

Problem is, I need to learn how to make myself work lots, and it's not coming easy...

I think I just need to ban myself from the computer, and keep the CD player on classical mode LOL

I start school again tomorrow, so I have to get back in the swing of things.

After how I'm feeling right now though... I'm just hoping it doesn't last me another day. Or else I won't be able to sit through my classes at ALL. LOL

Ah teenage brokenheartedness - looking back on it now my entire grade 10 and 11 years were hilarious, but I didn't think so at the time

I look back on my previous relationship and laugh, "Haha, I know so much more now than I did; I was so stupid." LOL

Aww. Hug  There isn't much that'll reliably take your mind off that.  On the other hand, it could inspire your next musical endeavour!  (Not necessarily a sloppy love song, that's probably not your style.)

Yeah, and it looks like there may be nothing I can do for years unfortunately. Ouch

But I manage. You are right though... usually after I have an intense mood like this, give it another day or two and inspiration somehow just flows out of my head. Hopefully that'll happen; I've been having composer's block for weeks now.

A love song would only be done in my style if I ever did one, which would be a very demented love song. LOL

They lie! Mozart makes me angry AngryLOL

It's just that rock music seems to stop me focussing properly. Most annoying.

(no joke. His perpetual cheeriness gets on my nerves.)

Oh dear. That changes everything... LOLWink

Nah. My classical tastes generally go Russian, 20th century or various piano trios and quartets.

I met up with an old high school friend in the fall and we had dinner... turns out she's since high school become the biggest Mozart fan on earth (seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if she did the naughty with a poster of him above her bed... the naughty on her own that is, because she's single), and she just kept on spontaneously breaking into singing some of his stuff at the restaurant. WTF? Slightly surreal and embarrassing...

At least we agreed for the vocalist elimination game too. Wink

Eww. LOL  If it'd been Stravinsky, now that'd be tasteful! Tongue

Hey, did the universe explode/implode yet?  No?  Oh, it's the LHC all over again. Confused
