I'm bored with everything tonight... I keep skipping songs, except for when Ronnie Drew shows up, which is weird.

This band are amazing.

The guitar solos are astounding, I must say.

Not sure what my esteemed friend Patrick will make of them.  I think he'll love them personally.

Don't say that, I'm a sucker for guitar solos and I can't access that music... Ouch

I think I just listened to that.

Excellent stuff. Big smile

I'm now on their second album. Tongue

My favorite Japanese band! Big smile

Though the second album was more of a miss to me (and I can't find their fourth anywhere!). Three and Six are masterliness to the highest order. Big smile

I have all their stuff.

It's the same guitarist in Salle Gaveau.

No wonder I love them.

June, check out Salle Gaveau on YouTube.  Kido Natsuki is fantastic!  Seriously.

How is their second a miss?

It's their best so far for me. Big smile

And I have IV.

Pat will love this so much.  I mean it too.

I'm not sure how easy their stuff is to get on CD, mind you.

No worries.

His acoustic and electric work is amazing.  Even Harry may agree on that one although he's weird sometimes.

You haven't gotten to six yet have you? Wink

For me its a bit too repetitive (gasp I'm sure you're saying). I would have also prefferred more of a emphasis on the vibes and such. At least to me they seem to be taking a backseat to the vocals especially. And the production seems lke the worst on II for some reason.

Still a good album...I'd probably give it a 3-3.5 now. Needless to say it needs to be listened to more.

And if you care to make a..."recommendation" I'm open for it. TongueBig smile

I'll keep them in mind.

I was limiting my next Wayside order to two, but that's not going to happen.  Now I want some Yugen.

Wayside has I,II,III, and VI.

As does Walker.

IV and V seem to be the difficult ones to find. I know, at least, IV is OOP.

You do have Salle Gaveau's debut?

I need their second... grrr!

Kido Natsuki is truly amazing.  He's like the Yoshi of the guitar world.

Oh I love the Zeuhl-feel on this.  It's feels like a flowing album, unlike their first.  This is darker too.  Isn't VI completely void of vocals though?

Not sure what else you've done this year, but I can say for certain this is the best decision you've made in 09 thus far.

Excellent.

Well I have IV (Récit) and V (Skin) on my computer, not on CD.

Looks I may have to add some other albums to my next order... damn!  Not only do I need Salle Gaveau's second, I need all the Bondage Fruit I can get.

Cool.

And no James, I have nothing by Salle Gaveau.  I'll pick them up on next order.

Here's a list, mostly for my own personal benefit to reference Wink

Le Silo
Rouge Ciel
Salle Gaveau
Yugen
Bondage Fruit
Bone Wink
Happy Family
