Close to the Edge - Yes
Eruption - Focus
Thick as a Brick - Jethro Tull
Echoes - Pink Floyd
SOYCD - Pink Floyd

All for the same reason - those pieces all hold you spellbound from start to finish, and I never tire of hearing them.

In no order:

Cassandra Gemini - The Mars Volta
Black Rose Immortal - Opeth
Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers - VDGG
Rubycon - Tangerine Dream
Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness - Green Carnation

I'd also like to mention:

The Ikon - Utopia
Crimson - The Edge Of Sanity
I - Meshuggah
TAAB - Jethro Tull

Of course, that is super-epics. If I were to list all my favourite epics (i.e. 10 minutes +) I would be here all day deciding.

What are we considering to be epics?  I consider epics to be 15 mins+, so.....

Coheed & Cambria - The Willing Well
Coheed & Cambria - The End Complete
Emerson, Lake, & Palmer - Tarkus
Emerson, Lake, & Palmer - Karn Evil 9
Genesis - Supper's Ready
Pink Floyd - Dogs
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon (originally conceived as a single piece)
Pink Floyd - Echoes
Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Yes - Close To The Edge
Yes - Awaken
Yes - The Gates Of Delirium
Yes - The Revealing Science Of God (Dance Of The Dawn)
Yes - The Remembering (High The Memory)
Yes - Ritual (Nu Sommes du Soliel)

...but if were going by around 10 minutes...

Coheed & Cambria - In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth:3 (it's a stretch at around 8 mins, but it's VERY epic)
Coheed & Cambria - The Light & The Glass
Coheed & Cambria - 21:13
Emerson, Lake, & Palmer - The Endless Enigma
Genesis - The Musical Box
Genesis - Firth Of Fifth
King Crimson - Epitaph
King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King
Pink Floyd - A Saucerful Of Secrets (Pompeii version)
Pink Floyd - Pigs (Three Different Ones)
Pink Floyd - Sheep
Queen - The Prophet's Song
Yes - Yours Is No Disgrace
Yes - Starship Trooper
Yes - Heart Of The Sunrise
Yes - And You And I
Yes - Sound Chaser

1. Pink Floyd - Echoes( a masterpiece Hug)
2. Genesis - Suppers Ready
3. Van der Graaf Generator - A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers/Sleepwalkers(I couldn't pick one or the otherEmbarrassed)
4. Camel White Rider/Lady Fantasy(same as above)
5. Rush - 2112

I would have put all the other PF songs but I tried to include more than one band. These aren't necessarily the best but at the moment I like them better than the others in their respective sub-genres.

Limited to one/band and the longer ones...and a top 5 is out of question. I don't have the guts.
Will probably be back for more when I remember them.

Karn Evil 9 - ELP
A trio at the very peak of their creative powers aided and abetted by the sort of technology that was 20 years ahead of the rest of the game
Close to the Edge - Yes
The whole is way, way greater than the sum of it's parts. The view from inside Anderson's backside was not yet a tourist destination called Gullible's Travels.
Tarkus - ELP
Created the template or blueprint for so many of the subsequent prog epic suites.
Suppers Ready - Genesis
Although really just a collection of song segments, the seamless arrangement is masterly
A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers - VDGG
Which illustrates you can write very long compositions without recourse to space filling virtuosity. A rare feat.

1. Octavarium - Dream Theater i'm  a DT fan a long time ago now, i love all of their epics, but definitly i think that Octavarium is the most well structured, complex song... with all of their influences gathered in there, powerful and in crecendo
2. Rush - 2112 one of the best classical albums inside prog... nuff said Big smile
3. Pink Floyd - Shine on You Crazy Diamond a masterpiece!!
4. Yes - Close To The Edge beautiful piece of prog, i listened for the first time in this website on their beginnigs, and it was quite a revelation to me, i entered into another world of music xD
5. Queen - The Prophet's Song i never listened such a complex vocal work like this one... May making his best work ever, love this one

1. Thick as a Brick
2. Close to the Edge
3. Suppers Ready
4. The Gates of Delirium
5. Tarkus
Honorable mention: A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers

IMO 10+ minutes does not make an epic, way too many songs would fall under that distinction which shouldnt.
