Pat, get someone to paint a portrait of you painting the wall.
That way, the wall gets painted and we get art simultaneously.

Not art that anyone would want, though.

I'd buy it.

Well... which ones have you heard besides that?

Tubular Bells, Ommadawn, Music Of The Spheres, Songs Of Distant Earth

but the SONG Five Miles Out is my favorite piece by Oldfield.

Hey Alex!

I'm feeling randomly and extremely happy right now for some reason. I might have just started a band too.

How about you?

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Stop being a n00b and repeating yourself, Bern. Wink

There's a brief bit of fuzz-bass in there somewhere.

I knew someone who was a HUGE Oldfield nut, but I haven't heard from him in months. It's like he fell off the face of the Earth. He would be of good help right now.

Hmm... Which of those 4 that you've heard do you like the most? Hergest Ridge might be good, but might not.

That's awesome news! Big smile

I'm doing really well, in general. I'm feeling pretty content and lazy for the time being... I start school again on Monday so that should be interesting. I'll be ready, but I'm taking advantage of my last few days for sure.

I was suffering from lovesickness for the last few days, but I appear to be doing better now. Can't complain.

Song-based?

Then try Islands, QE2, or Platinum. My favorite of those is QE2.

I never said which album it was on it was just an example of a song-based Oldfield tune. Wink

Saxondale is cool in-as-much as:

1. it features Steve Coogan
2. it has a themetune by Focus
3. Tommy Saxondale quotes song lyrics (and just quoted some Rush)

Nice.
