My opinion haven't changed.
The short version is "nice, but pretty unmemorable and not very progressive".

By chance have you gone to his website and taken a look at the accompanying pictures and story.  I agree that musically, it probably isn't all that progressive, but it is definitely art rock.  If you haven't checked out his website, you really should, in order to get the full effect of the album.
