not to mention that rent is hard to pay when your job keeps calling you and cutting your hours because of the snow AND the snow raped my mother and killed my father

Well Third has avant-garde elements, which makes it great for me, and I listen to a lot of avant-fusion, if not mostly, but when there isn't that edge, it often feels soulless or boring to me. Incidentally, I found out yesterday that one of Chris Cutler's and Fred Frith's favorite bands is Steely Dan. I tried to listen to them once and I found it unbearable, but I am willing to acquiesce to their clearly superior taste. |
Aja is a really boring album.

I don't know, I don't listen to Steely Dan. :P But I will admit that there is merit to what they do if Chris and Fred say so!
But now that you have recovered from your deathly illness, you must pass judgement upon Stump in General Music.

Haha, yeah, back to the old grind. Fortunately I have one last week, because I'm not ready yet.

And anyway, today's 'emo' has almost nothing to do with it was once was. I like emo, just not the stuff that has anything to do with today's really fashion obsessed pop punk 'emo' crap. So I prefer to call 'emo' kids scene kids, because technically I could be an emo kid anyway, since I listen to emo.

So you're telling me you like Finch, Fallout Boy, Panic! At the Disco and AFI?
