QPR is the best -- all of their best material! 

Some sound issues, but who cares.  The set list is killer.

Symphonic Live is my favorite, but I haven't heard QPR.

The only one I have is symphonic, and I don't care for it much- I would rather the band be without the symphony.

I guess for me the symphony added a new dimension to Yes' music.  That, and all the young ladies playing their instruments were much easier on the eyes than the caped one. LOL

I'll tell you right now, Keys to Ascension has the best set list, but it's terrible quality all but ruins it.  Jon Anderson clearly rerecorded his vocals (they don't mix with the sound at all), and the grainy picture is complimented by pictures of waterfalls and outer space instead of the band.

For me, their House of Blues is very good (if you don't mind quite a bit of stuff from The Ladder, which I happen to like), or Songs from Tsongas, which is fairly good all around.

I got Acoustic and Tsongas, Acoustic is quite meh, while Tsongas has some very good stuff, but I wouln't say it's a killer DVD.

It's certainly not the best sound quality but I've got a soft spot for Yessongs which I still only have on VHS. I must get round to buying it on DVD one of these days.

Tsongas for me, if only for the fantastic acoustic set on disc two, which represented a departure from previous live discs. Symphonic for much the same reason comes in second - I saw them in Cardiff on this tour and we all loved it.

Once upon a time there was a thing called VHS. I remember the only Yes video available was a video of the Close To The Edge tour called Yessongs. Sort of a companion to the album. I still have mine. don`t know if it`s come out on DVD at all. I think Yes has lost a certain amount of mystique with all these DVDs. I don`t bother with them anymore ( the DVDs).

It came out on DVD but there's not all the songs unfortunately... Does your VHS contains all the YesSongs tracks?

I have all the DVD's that have been mentioned in this thread plus some others. My personal favourite is House Of Yes - Live At The House Of Blues. This was recorded during The Ladder tour and has some songs from that album, which I love. Especially the Homeworld, it is fantastic. And in addition there are excellent and energetic versions of Yours Is No Disgrace and Perpetual Change which are among the best versions I have ever heard. I also love when Jon says "welcome to the house of blues, but tonight it's the house of Yes!" followed straight away by Perpetual Change. Chris is on fire in this concert! And the whole band is sooo tight.
 
My second favourite is Symphonic, here we get more longer tracks, and more instrumental workout and some songs are a bit different from the originals in some ways. Great DVD and the these two DVD's both get five star ratings from me.
 
Songs From Tsongas is good too, but slightly lifeless. Only on the acoustic set are they really great, I think. There are some mistakes, and Wakeman looks sleepy and even bored sometimes. The arena is too big to get any conntact with the audience. If you want to see Wakeman is action get one of his solo DVD's (Made In Cuba is great). 
 
The Montreux Jazz festival DVD is slightly better, and the set list is great. But the band is not as tight as they are on House Of Blues and Symphonic Live gigs.
 
I would not recommend the QPR DVD's, these are of really, really poor quality. I haven't rated them yet, but they might get one or maybe two star ratings!! Yessongs is a bit better, but still this is more of a historic document than a good listening pleasure.

I totally agree!! The Keys To Ascension DVD is not good, even if it probably was a good gig. But it is not well documented on video at all. House Of Blues ClapClap

You should get the Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe DVD then!! I love it, the quality is not perfect, but far above Yessongs, QPR and Keys interms of sound and picture quality. I guess it is pretty rare, I have the limited edition 2disc version Smile
