You'd actually be surprised. I've been surfing this site for over 3 years now. I just never registered (with this account) until early this year, and never heavily posted until this past summer.

Want some sort of proof? Look up "MovingPictures7". Wink

Doesn't go all the way back to when I first intensely would use the site, but it's something. I don't like bringing that account up though, as my ratings, posts and reviews are embarassing.

I'm more of a hermit than you are. The only things that keep me from being ahead of you:

1. I don't spend ALL my time on here, and I could easily spend more time on here, but I play video games, hang with my family, compose, read, and do other stuff.

2. I have school.

I'll definitely never leave this site, but my activity after college may prove to be different. There's no predicting of what my life will be like, really. Also, I'm sure that my posting will slow down when I become employed along with school as well, which is just a matter of time.

I don't spend all day hereAngryLOL
I actually have started gaming again, which is taking away from my extra posting too, plus still read and over the next few weeks, will be busy with friends anyway.
I may buy a firewire interface for recording and will not be using Audacity eitherLOL

Hehe, I see,

I discovered this place early 2004 and registered over a year later. My english wasn't very good back then, and reviews where horrible (been trying to better those a bit). I remember that you could download free mp3's back then, and Canterbury and RIO where under the same genre site. I downloaded Triomphe des Mouches with Univers Zero for a quite disturbing surprise that wayLOL

The Romans ruled most of Europe for several hundred years partly because of how advanced they were at the time. I think that and the 20th century, especially World War II, are my favorite periods to learn about in history.

I don't watch the History Channel all that much, but I go through phases and  I am usually pretty impressed by whatever I happen to be watching.  Obviously, during my school years we were taught about Roman history a few different times and although I've forgotten most of what I learned, it was a subject that I did enjoy.  A few months ago on the History Channel they did a two-hour episode on the Dark Ages which basically began with the fall of the Roman Emipire.  I don't really remember that ever really being touched on during my school years.  It was really quite amazing how much ground was lost after the Roman empire fell.   Basically invaders from the Orient and the plague destroyed the Roman empire and set back the human race hundreds of years.

Yeah, I hardly watch it either, but my views are similar to yours. The Roman Empire certainly is interesting to learn about for those reasons; I learned some as well during high school because my Latin teacher was insane about jamming us constantly full of information about it.
