... for me to hear? I like hard rock like Black Sabbath, early AC/DC and such. Preferly 70's.
Not expecting anything progressive at all, i'm just curious! Tongue
Not including their mid 80's albums, since they're labeled as "Glam Metal". Cry

Interesting? None. But the ones you MIGHT like, should be their debut and Hotter than Hell for straight Hard Rock, kind of Ac/Dc Scott era but with less potential.

80'S and 90's albums are also very good. Probably hot in the shade is the worst.

Since there is no Carnival of Souls I chose Alive! It's a shame no one wants to vote. Also Paul Stanley solo album is really good , it has two amazing power ballads.

But if you want the best of the 70's get Double Platinum.

Their live albums are generally pretty kick ass, so that is probably a pretty good way to start with them.  Being an 80's guy, I do like Lick It Up, Animalize, and Asylum, but you are right in that they are glam metal or hair metal albums.

I only heard two... Destroyer was just unmemorable hard rock and Dynasty - just pure disco garbage.
so all i can really recommend is to stay away from Dynasty

IF i'm getting some KISS albums, i'll probably get only the 70's ones, up to and not including "Dynasty". Tongue

For the sort of music it is, their eponymous debut isn't bad.  However, KISS just seemed to grow progressively worse with each album.
