And nice Wayside haul.  I need some of those myself.  Not sure why you bothered with Far Corner though, they're rather dull. LOL

I took a blind leap with the record, it was only $8, as was the Upsilon Acrux and Hopper CDs.  If it sucks, no big deal - I think I paid more than that for Pure Reason Revolution.  LOL

So my album sucks, doesn't it? Cry

When did I say that?  Confused

Haha, I was only pulling your leg because you didn't respond to James's questioning on it. Tongue

I really don't care if you think it sucks anyway; I always prefer honest feedback.

At least it's not as bad as PRR. Wink

Which Afenginn?

It best not be the latest, I haven't heard it yet and I'm one of their biggest fans. Disapprove

Embarrassed

All three of their releases are on emusic.  Big smile

Yes but I like hard copies on CD.

I'd take a sample copy though... until I order it.  Is it available from Greg Walker?

Greg doesn't have any of their albums, I don't think.
I'll sort it out for you in a little while.  Smile

Are you sure?  I've got their first two on CD and I forget where I got them and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Amazon.

I only use Greg, Wayside, ReR and Amazon for my CD purchases.

Honestly, all I can say is I didn't love it and I didn't hate it.  I think you guys have some good potential.

And yes, I will listen to your album over PRR every time.  Tongue

Well, Afenginn are from Denmark, right?  I looked under Danish artists and couldn't find the band listed.

Hmm, so where did I buy those two albums then?

Unless I somehow ordered them via the band themselves or something... I may have done that.  I could have used PayPal or something.

I managed to wangle a free copy of Alamaailman Vasarat's Maahan. LOLBig smile

Thanks. Big smile

Now I'm getting all hyped up and ready for #2. All I need to do is make sure every composition is how I want it to be, get the album art ready, then copyright it. I think I'm officially releasing it February, but I'll give out promo copies to a few people on here (you said you wanted to hear it for a decision, so you can be one of them) when I'm done with that stuff.

That's not much of a compliment; you'd listen to nearly anything over Tarkus. LOL

I need to hear some Alamaailman Vasarat soon. I think I'll make them one of my new discovery bands in 2009. Smile

I added Calomito today - I have to try and find their album, I think they're pretty cool.

Yes, it's a band effort, but I composed nearly the entirety of this album (even more than I did for In Anima); there are only two songs I didn't fully compose/direct and I did most of those.

COMPOSED, not performed though, obviously. That'd be insane. LOL

I've also got my bandmates' confirmation/thoughts on album art and album itself, of course. We've had it done for a week or so; I'm mainly doing "final touches" stuff.

I really can't say whether my album (or any of them that I ever make, for that matter) could be a grower or not though, since I've heard it like 150 times.

Whether that makes any effect on anyone's listening to it, I don't know.

I also need that 1870 album.

A ReR and a Wayside order are required.

I have a long list...

One Shot - Dark Shot
Kultivator - Barndomens stigar
Rational Diet - both albums
Salle Gaveau - the last album they did
Afenginn - the latest
Katzen Kapell - their recent two
1870 - whatever it's called
Die Knodel - Die Noodle! and their latest
Volapuk - Feu de Tigre, Polyglot, Where is Tamashii?
Etron Fou Leloublan - all of them besides the debut
October Equus - all of their releases
Six Cylindres en V - ...Dernier cri
Soft Heap - whatever that live album is called

Plus lots of jazz, like Keith Tippett, Graham Collier, Brotherhood of Breath, Isipingo, In Cahoots and a lot more besides.

Add ...Dernier cri to the last list too.

Do you have it on CD?

Rolling Pistones and WAO are fantastic. Big smile
