Maybe I should get a harmonica too... I've been meaning to pick up my flute again, and I'd forgotten how loud that thing can be. Maybe a harmonica would be less annoying for my neighbours.
What sort of harmonica should a n00b get? |
Don't underestimate a harmonica. It sounds really loud too. That's the main problem with wind instruments. I know what I'm talking about being a sax/flute player.
|
Mmm... I'm heading to Archambault tomorrow anyway, maybe I'll look up how much a harmonica can cost. I wanted to get a tin whistle when I got into Irish folk, but haven't found one offshore yet. Maybe Twigg has them. |
It's not THAT expensive usually. And I don't know about tin whistles. You might want to try out Ital Mélodie instead of Archambault though. The prices are usually way better.
|
I don't think there's one on the South Shore, is there?
Maybe I'll head into Granby after the holidays, they have a couple of fair enough music stores too, with the festival and all. |
Oh yeah, I forgot you were from the South Shore. No, there's only one Ital Mélodie and it's in Montreal. Archambault isn't that bad though.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

To the best of my knowledge, Indian rock music that uses a lot of the classical Indian music harmonic structure and lots of complex rhythms too.

Yarrgh! Raga Rock is an old legend passed down from generation to generation. It's a sound so fair the gods of olden days kept it so secret that no one would ever hear it. And yet it was created by man, and it was said that one day, on instinct alone, a brave little chosen one from the crypts of society that were the progressive fanbase would rediscover this enchanting music, and bring peace and prosperity back to the mortal world.

Mmm... I last.fmed it
Top Artists: Third Ear Band, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, George Harrison, The Byrds and Magic Carpet.
And it has Clark Hutchinson in it's tracks, and I've just fallen in love with him...
Maybe I don't exist either, because I like a couple of these things.

Saying Google lies would be blasphemy. Just like saying Wikipedia lies. Neither can be wrong. Ever.

Except someone killed the chosen one off, so it remains an obscurity to this day.
