Yeah, but that's German, right? They'd be more expensive here, I guess.

What sort of harmonica should a n00b get? |
Don't underestimate a harmonica. It sounds really loud too. That's the main problem with wind instruments. I know what I'm talking about being a sax/flute player.
|
Mmm... I'm heading to Archambault tomorrow anyway, maybe I'll look up how much a harmonica can cost. I wanted to get a tin whistle when I got into Irish folk, but haven't found one offshore yet. Maybe Twigg has them. |
It's not THAT expensive usually. And I don't know about tin whistles. You might want to try out Ital Mélodie instead of Archambault though. The prices are usually way better.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Made in Germany. But their cheap ones are made in China. But you want a German one. And they're an international brand and most decent harp players play Hohner harmonicas.

Now now, I love Upsilon Acrux and Ahleuchatistas and I was listening to Cheval de Frise the other day. So don't lie.

Math rock is the sub-genre I'm least familiar with.

I don't think there's one on the South Shore, is there?
Maybe I'll head into Granby after the holidays, they have a couple of fair enough music stores too, with the festival and all.

2 Math rock fans in the house Once I've got enough metal stuff and post rock, I'm going to get a math rock collection. Math rock is probably about to become my 4th favorite PA genre.
